2025 ACR Medical Student Scholarship Application

The College is proud to offer travel scholarships to medical students enrolled in U.S. or Canadian approved programs in order to support attendance at the 2025 ACR annual meeting.


The ACR is offering a maximum of ten travel scholarships for medical students to attend ACR's Annual Meeting on May 3-7, 2025.


  • Awardees must register for ACR 2025 and attend predetermined activities (to include the RFS program, MS Session and Council meetings; attendance a minimum of 3 days is required).
  • Awardees must participate in the meeting mentor program, complete pre- and post-meeting surveys and provide a post-meeting write-up on their experience; content from the post-meeting write-ups may be used in ACR publications and marketing materials.
  • Medical students must be in their first, second, or third year of medical school, or in a research year, and not yet matched to radiology.

Personal Statements

1. A core mission of the ACR is to promote knowledge and interest in radiology among medical students as well as promote advocacy in the field. Describe your involvement in radiology-specific research, advocacy, or outreach projects and what inspires you to pursue a career in radiology.

2. Promoting diversity and inclusion in radiology is an important part of what we do at ACR. With this scholarship, we aim to provide students who have overcome personal and/or economic obstacles the opportunity to attend a national radiology symposium and learn from and connect with experts and other trainees. Describe any obstacles you've encountered in your career thus far and how this scholarship can help you achieve your goals.
