Overview/Requirements

Thank you for your interest in Mt San Antonio College's Counseling Department. An internship/volunteer experience in counseling services is valuable in developing your understanding of the counseling discipline at a community college. Please note that we accept inquiries for an internship for fall and/or spring only. Inquires must be submitted at least two months before each primary term to allow time for review and process of internship/volunteer documents, if approved. To be considered all of these are required: Unofficial transcripts, Mt. SAC volunteer form, and a letter on official school letterhead from your instructor outlining the programs requirement. If you have completed your master’s program and are requesting to shadow a counselor, a letter from your school is not required.
