AOPO Foundation Grant Research Application

The AOPO Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting research focused on improving all aspects of organ and tissue donation.


There are two (2) award dates per year: June 15 and December 15. Applications for the June award cycle must be received by 5:00pm ET May 1st and applications for the December award cycle must be received by 5:00pm ET November 1st.


To apply for an AOPO Foundation Grant, please complete this online application. All applicants are notified of their application status, regardless of funding, the week of June 15 and December 15, respectively.

Preliminary Budget: Assumes a 12-month time frame. No more than 15% of requested funds may be allocated for overhead charges (general or unspecified expenses charges).


The AOPO Foundation maintains the authority to line-item veto any proposed expenditure, as applicable. Indirect costs of up to 15% are permitted.
