Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join the Bobby Dodd Institute team and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and market research.
General Responsibilities
The Intern will be involved in various administrative and creative tasks to acquire experience in diverse areas of nonprofit marketing. Responsibilities include managing a database of documents related to video and print production, recognizing and developing stories for various platforms including social media, blogs, video, and print production. The intern will also assist in developing content for email communications based on an approved content calendar and participate in the production of video and photography projects. Furthermore, the intern will be responsible for overseeing social media channels, including a newly created TikTok channel and an established Instagram channel.
Required Education
Enrolled in a two-year, four-year, or graduate degree program in Marketing, Video Production, or related areas.
Required Qualifications
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media and best practices for each platform.
• Knowledge of email platforms like MailChimp.
• Interest in photography, videography, graphic design, or all three.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in photography and videography.
• Experience in blog writing.
