The ASHHRA Conference Scholarship is for ASHHRA members who would like to attend the ASHHRA annual conference and exposition with a complimentary Full Conference registration. ASHHRA will award 10 Full Conference registration scholarships from among applicants based on the application and essay required. This scholarship only includes Full Conference registration for the ASHHRA25 Annual Conference and Exposition to be held in Albuquerque, NM, from April 6-8, 2025.

To qualify:

• You must be a current ASHHRA Practitioner member and have been so for at least one year prior to submitting your application.

Required Documents

• Completed application form submitted by the deadline date.
• An up-to-date resume showing your most recent position.
• Essay: Submit an essay (500-word maximum) articulating your background, what you hope to achieve by attending the conference, and why you are deserving of the scholarship.

Additional Terms

• The scholarship for Full Conference registration to ASHHRA24 and cannot be applied to a current or existing registration.
• The scholarship is non-transferable to another person or event.
• Members of the Board of Directors, Annual Conference Education Committee (ACEC) and Member Relations Committee (MRC) are not eligible to apply.
• A recipient of this scholarship is not eligible to submit another nomination until two years have passed since receiving the award.

The New to the Profession Scholarship recognizes an individual that is new to the healthcare human resources profession. ASHHRA is proud to offer this opportunity to cover attendance to the ASHHRA25 annual conference and exposition in Albuquerque, NM, April 6-8, 2025. This includes:

• Full Conference registration
• Hotel accommodations (three nights)
• Travel (airfare or ground, up to $500)

To qualify:

• You must be a current ASHHRA Practitioner member and have been so for at least one year prior to submitting your application.
• You must have less than three years of healthcare human resources experience.

Required Documents

• Completed application form submitted by the deadline date.
• An up-to-date resume showing your most recent position.
• Essay: Submit an essay (500-word maximum) explaining why you chose this profession and why you believe you would be the best recipient for this scholarship.

Additional Terms

• The scholarship for Full Conference registration cannot be applied to a current or existing registration.
• The scholarship is non-transferable to another person or event.
• Members of the Board of Directors, Annual Conference Education Committee (ACEC) and Member Relations Committee (MRC) are not eligible to apply.
• The selected recipient will be required to submit an ASHHRA expense reimbursement form within two weeks after the conference.
• The is a one-time award and the recipient is not eligible for future New to the Profession scholarships.
