Membership Transfer Request Form

NAFSA Membership Transfer Guidelines:

  • Membership may not be transferred after the first six months of the current membership year.
  • Membership may not be transferred a second time.
  • Memberships cannot be transferred to someone that has a current NAFSA membership.
  • Student, Retired Professional, and New Member categories are non-transferrable.
  • Transfer requests may take 3-5 business days to be completed.
  • Confirmation of the completed transfer will be sent via email.

Note: Every NAFSA member is assigned a NAFSA ID. It is a unique string of numbers that identifies the account holder. A NAFSA ID may not be reassigned to another individual. The member may find the ID by logging in to NAFSA.org and selecting MyNAFSA

Do you also need to transfer a NAFSA Adviser's Manual 360 Subscription?

Please submit a request to transfer an Adviser's Manual 360 subscription by including the transfer-from name and transfer-to name, at: https://www.nafsa.org/form/am360-feedback
