Instructions:

Your legal spouse and children under age 21 may be eligible for F-2 dependent status to stay in the U.S. Who is eligible for F-2 visa status: - F-1 student’s legal spouse - F-1 student’s children under 21 How to receive an F-2 I-20: 1. Collect the following forms and documentation: - Inviting family’s passport copy (bio page) - Document to prove the family relationship (e.g. marriage certificate, birth certificate, family registry, etc.) - Financial document to support your family (e.g. bank letter)* *Your financial document must show at least USD 26,000 plus: o First dependent = $5,000 o Each additional dependent = $2,500 2. Submit the this form with your supporting documents 3. ISP office will e-mail you with your dependent's F-2 I-20.
