2025 First There First Care Conference - Call for Presentations

We are seeking engaging presentations from EMS/Fire-Rescue, Nursing/Healthcare Educators, and Leaders!


Session proposals for consideration for the 28th Annual First There First Care & Gathering of Eagles Conference on June 9-13, 2025, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL, are now being accepted.


The First There First Care Conference (June 9-11, 2025) features relevant, progressive, and impactful pertinent topics for all Fire-Rescue/EMS and Nursing/Healthcare community levels.


Main conference sessions at First There First Care Conference are 60 minutes in duration. Pre-conference Presentations typically vary from 4 to 8 hours in length. The keynote presentation is typically 30-45 minutes in length.


Proposals may include one or more presenters. The maximum number of proposals that are accepted for consideration is five (5) proposals. Multiple proposals are encouraged.


Each proposal must include the following:


1) Abstract: A concise 1-2 paragraph overview of your presentation.


2) Outline: A general outline of your presentation's structure.


3) Course Objectives: Four specific learning objectives for each hour of your presentation.


4) Presenter (s) Information:

  • Names and credentials as you would like them listed.
  • Current CV or resume.
  • A one-paragraph professional biography for conference promotion.
  • A professional photo
  • A detailed explanation of your qualifications to speak on the proposed topics.


Evaluation Criteria:

  • Relevance: Alignment with the EMS/Nursing/Healthcare community's needs and interests.
  • Focus: Clear fit within the conference's program structure.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated subject matter expertise of the presenter(s).

Note

Top consideration is given to new, high-quality and/or timely topics or content. Strong consideration will be given to sessions that focus on solutions and best practices for both field providers, ER Nursing and Fire-Rescue leaders. Members of the FTFC Speaker Committee evaluate all proposed sessions using the following criteria:


  • Relevance: Alignment with the EMS/Nursing/Healthcare community's needs and interests.
  • Focus: Clear fit within the conference's program structure.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated subject matter expertise of the presenter(s).
