The comprehensive literacy plan should include:

Section 1: LEA Overview, Literacy Data, and Literacy Needs

Section 2: K-12 SMART Goal and Action Plan for Each Goal

Section 3: LEA Dyslexia Screening Plan

Section 4: LEA Core Literacy Curriculum

Section 5: Plan for Multi-Layered Systems of Supports (MLSS)

Section 6: SEG Structured Literacy Allocation

Section 7: Plan for Structured Literacy Professional Learning

Section 8: Administration Ongoing Literacy Monitoring and Support

Section 9: Members of the District's or Charter School's Literacy Leadership Team

Please ensure that a 24-25 SY Literacy Plan template (linked below) is used. If a previous year's template is submitted, you will be asked to use one of the current templates and resubmit the literacy plan.

Only K-5 Literacy Plans are required, but if you are a charter school who supports secondary grade levels, you can submit a K-8 or a K-12 Literacy Plan instead.
