Thank you for reaching out to request a CEEO training. Please note that training requests are meant to cover a minimum of 5 attendees or more.


CEEO currently offers presentations on the following topics:


A. Civil Rights at Work. This presentation provides an overview of University policies, state, and federal law related to civil rights discrimination and harassment, to include sexual harassment. The presentation discusses protected statuses, accommodations, reporting, resources, and scenarios to ensure the participants can spot civil rights issues and have the tools to address concerns.


B. CEEO Review. This presentation addresses what CEEO does and does not do and processes available CEEO participants.


C. Supportive Measures. This presentation defines supportive measures and reviews processes in requesting and administering supportive measures.


D. Title IX. This presentation discusses Title IX, sexual misconduct, reporting requirements, and processes available to individuals experiencing a Title IX issue.


E. Hate & Bias. This presentation defines hate and bias, to include microaggressions, discrimination, harassment, and hate crimes.


F. Accommodations (Disability/Medical Condition). This presentation provides an overview of accommodation due to one's disability or serious medical condition, as well as how someone can request an accommodation and the accommodation process.


G. Accommodations (Religious). This presentation provides an overview of religious accommodation and how someone can request an accommodation and the accommodation process.


H. Clery Act Review. This presentation will address the Clery Act, its origin and development, Clery crimes, Campus Security Authorities, and reporting.


I. Minors on Campus. This presentation provides an overview of the requirements and policies that provide for the safety of minors on UNM campus or attending UNM programs. Topics include requirements for reporting child abuse and neglect, and a focus on UNM policy in particular.


J. Limited English Proficiency Policy. This presentation explains the rights of limited English proficient (LEP) individuals under federal law to provide language access to their programs and activities.


K. Custom Workshop. CEEO presentations can be combined to create a custom workshop tailored to meet the needs of the department, school, or college.
