2022 Summer Program Fund - Peer Reviewer Interest Form

School’s Out Washington (SOWA) is partnering with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to develop and administer the 2022 Summer Program Fund: a statewide opportunity for summer enrichment programs, serving young people ages 4-21 in Washington. Approximately $4.5M will be invested in programs through contracts ranging from $10,000 - $50,000 for this summer, 2022, with a focus on the following: Prioritizing social connections among young people. Engaging young people in physical and outdoor activities. Prioritizing programs serving youth furthest from educational justice. Conducting in-person or mostly in-person programming. Providing summer programming on multiple days and/or over multiple weeks. School’s Out Washington is seeking peer reviewers to participate in the review process for the 2022 Summer Program Fund. Reviewers will be asked to review a set of applications between late December and mid January. Reviewers will come together during a final review meeting to reach consensus on their scores. Reviewers will receive a stipend of$250 and lead reviewers will receive a stipend of $500.
