Surfboard Storage:

The Office of Housing Administration has limited availability in our surfboard lockers located outside of Zura Residence Hall.

This form will open on August 11 at 9 a.m. PST.

Priority will be given to those living in the Surf & Sustainability Community, if they submit this form prior to August 15 at 12 p.m.

After 12 p.m. on August 15, residents of the Surf & Sustainability Community who submitted for a surf locker will be given their locker numbers. Any lockers not assigned will be assigned via a lottery system.

All other residents who submitted a form from August 11 at 9 a.m. - August 15 at 12 p.m. will be put into a random list generator and will be contacted in order of the list via their SDSUid email address.

Should you be notified, you will have 72 hours to claim your locker. Should you fail to respond, the locker will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

We encourage you to obtain renter's insurance for your surfboard. One option is to use GradGuard. GradGuard offers renter’s insurance coverage as well as protection for personal property, including electronics. Please visit gradguard.com

The Office of Housing Administration has limited availability in our surfboard lockers located outside of Zura Residence Hall. Please complete this form if you are interested in reserving a surfboard locker for the 2024-25 school year. You will be notified via email if we are able to reserve a surfboard locker for you.

All boxes must be checked in order to be considered for a surf locker.

I understand that the locker is for storage of my surfboard only.

I understand that I must provide my own lock for the locker.

I agree to keep the locker locked at all times.

I understand that I cannot sell or rent the space to anyone.

I understand that San Diego State University accepts no responsibility for surfboards and/or accessories stored in the locker.

I understand that failure to comply with the guidelines set forth will result in the immediate loss of the storage space.

I understand that my belongings must be removed from the locker upon moving out of the residence hall or no later than 10 a.m. on May 16, 2025.
