Community Improvement Grant Application

Community Improvement Grants encourage neighborhood groups and homeowner's association participation in community improvement projects. Approved projects are eligible for up to $9,999 and must benefit the neighborhood, be accessible to the general public, and must have three bids. The public area must be within the Littleton city limits to qualify. Use the Address Wizard to check the physical address if unsure.


This form cannot be saved and completed at a later time, so please only fill out when you are ready to submit.

Project Information

Large community improvement grants are physical improvements to common areas accessible to the general public such as:

  • playground enhancements,
  • landscaping improvements,
  • monument sign repair/replacement,
  • decorative fencing,
  • shelter construction and improvements.


A completed W-9 Form must be submitted with each grant application. Information on the W-9 form must match the Payee Information entered below.

Payee Information

Provide the name and address of the person or entity to whom the grant check will be payable. Name and address must match information on W-9 Form exactly. A copy of the W-9 Form may be found on the city website on the Community Improvement Grant page.


Please note, the grant check will be sent to the payee as a reimbursement of approved funds upon completion of the project and after the grant coordinator has received a copy of the final invoices and receipts.

Please note: Community improvement grant monies are mailed to payee upon project completion. If the project is awarded, community improvement grants are given a timeline to complete the project. Upon completion, final invoices and copies of canceled checks, along with photographs of the completed project, must be sent to the grant coordinator to receive the grant award check.
