MDIC would like to invite all stakeholders in the medical device computational modeling and simulation (CM&S) ecosystem to submit abstracts to the upcoming symposium entitled “Credible Models in the Age of AI”. Submissions will be considered for podium or poster presentation in the following areas:
Hybrid models – AI/ML combined with CM&S based models, such as (but not limited to):
- Surrogate model trained with CM&S data
- AI/ML based image processing within a CM&S workflow
- Mapping between clinical and CM&S variables using AI/ML
CM&S Credibility Assessment case studies, such as (but not limited to):
- Validation case studies using benchtop, in vivo, or population-based comparator data
- Verification or uncertainty quantification case studies
- End-to-end examples of risk informed credibility assessment of CM&S
- Credibility assessment of hybrid CM&S – AL/ML models
Novel simulation technologies or applications in CM&S, such as (but not limited to):
- Patient-specific models
- Digital twins
- In silico clinical trials
- Use of generative AI to support CM&S
