Resources & Milestones

 

What support do you need from AIHA (i.e., staff time, funding)? Please describe in detail to best understand budget needs and staff time.


Please note that approval of this proposal does not indicate approval of any funds needed to complete the project. If the proposal requires funding, then the volunteer group officer should submit a funding request via the funding request form by July 1.If any project requires funding, then it cannot proceed until the funding is approved through the funding request process (a separate process from the content proposal review process). The decision on funding requests may not take place until several months after the content proposal is sent to the Board.

Project Milestones

Complete the timeframe for each phase; include buffer time for reviews/approvals.

 

Define the planning phase duration (e.g., Month 1 or Weeks 1 - 2)

 

Estimate when the first full draft will be ready (e.g., Month 2 or Months 1 - 3). Base this on task complexity and team capacity.

 

Allocate a review window (e.g., Months 3 - 4 or 2 weeks)

 

Schedule time to address feedback and finalize work (e.g., Month 4 - 5). Include buffer for unexpected revisions.

 

Please allow time for the proposal to be reviewed and approved (approx. 30 business days) before starting work on your project.
