Nebraska City business and organizations are invited

to participate in the Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest!

• Fill out the attached Entry Form and return it to NCTC by October 10, 2025
• Have your scarecrow and/or display ready to go by October 15. Voting begins October 17, and the NCTC office will take photos of the scarecrows over the weekend.
• Scarecrows are to be displayed outside of your business for the duration of the contest.
• A sign will be provided for your Scarecrow -- your business name and Scarecrow name will be on the sign.
• Awards (trophy and special prize) will be given to People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice. Scarecrows will be featured on the NCTC Facebook page for an online People’s Choice voting. A panel of judges will select a Judge’s Choice winner.
