SEFAA Education Scholarship Application
The South East Florida Apartment Association promotes professionalism in the apartment industry by providing qualifying applicant(s) the opportunity to receive a partial scholarship to aide with the necessary costs in obtaining a National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) designation such as CAM, CAMT, CALP, CAPS, CAS, or CPO.
Scholarships are reviewed as they are submitted, in the order they are received. Applicants will be notified of eligibility within (14) calendar days of receipt of full application. Applications are reviewed by the SEFAA Education & Career Committee.
After review of the application, recipients will be notified of their eligibility. After successful completion of the course,
- If registration was previously paid in full, funds will be sent in the form of a reimbursement to the purchaser.
- If registration is unpaid, SEFAA will apply a credit to the outstanding invoice.
SEFAA will reimburse or credit 50% of the total cost of the designation program registration fee*.
As we understand upfront payment for the class may be a barrier to registration, confirmed eligible applicants should proceed with the following path for registration for the class:
- register for the class through the event page using your Member Compass
- opt to be invoiced when prompted
- pay 50% of the invoice via check or credit card
- successfully attend all classes and complete the course
- SEFAA Accounting will apply the credit to the outstanding invoice, post-successful completion
Please reach out to events@sefaa.org with any questions.
*Scholarships are awarded as long as funds are available in the Education Fund, unless otherwise authorized by SEFAA’s Budget and Finance Committee.
**Individuals are eligible for one scholarship PER designation as long as separate applications are received (e.g. one application for CALPs, a separate application for CAM, etc.)
