Submitted alerts will be addressed during normal business hours, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), excluding University holidays.


The information you share will be shared with staff engaged in helping navigate the system and kept private. There are exceptions to privacy under the law which include a court order, imminent danger to yourself and others, child abuse, sexual harassment, and discrimination. These must be reported to the Office of Institutional Compliance and Ethics and/or another appropriate authority.

  • Fear for safety that is plausible and grounded in reality
  • A threat of suicide that suggests an imminent risk (plan, intent, means)
  • Behaviors that cause concern for violence towards others
  • Stalking behavior involving an implied or overt threat of violence
  • Implied thoughts of violence towards others
  • Implied plan of violence towards others

  • FYI: for our information because the conflict has already been managed; typically used by University employees
