ACCET 2025 Annual Conference
Reaching New Heights: Leadership, Innovation, & Compliance in the Windy City

ACCET invites faculty and staff from our member institutions and experts from the field to present at our 2025 Annual Conference. We seek dynamic and engaging speakers and encourage submissions that provide practical takeaways. Presenters will be allotted 50 or 80 minutes, including time for Q&A. We look forward to your valuable contributions to this event and to an inspiring and enriching conference!
A team of ACCET staff and Commissioners will evaluate proposals based on relevance, clarity, and alignment with the event’s objectives. Selected speakers will receive a $50 discount on their 2025 Annual Conference registration.
We invite proposals that fit into one of the following tracks:
- Leadership: Sessions exploring the qualities and skills of effective leadership in educational settings, including topics such as organizational management, team building, strategic decision-making, and fostering a positive culture that supports faculty, staff, and students.
- Student Services & Community Engagement: Sessions highlighting innovative approaches to supporting students' well-being (academic, social, and personal) and fostering community engagement. Topics may include advising, student engagement, retention strategies, the development of resources that cater to diverse student needs, and strategies for building strong connections between institutions and the communities they serve.
- Classroom Innovations & Best Practices: Sessions designed for educators seeking to enhance their teaching methodologies, showcasing cutting-edge classroom innovations and evidence-based best practices. Topics may include AI and technology integration, active learning strategies, differentiated instruction, and new approaches to assessment.
- Compliance: Sessions focused on navigating the regulatory landscape, including topics such as accreditation standards, legal requirements, and best practices for ensuring institutional compliance with federal and state regulations.
Proposals that feature tools, products, or services available for purchase by the membership are not appropriate to submit through this proposal process. Instead, we invite you to contact us about exhibitor and sponsor opportunities.
