United Way of the Coastal Empire seeks engaged citizens from Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties to guide our annual strategic investment in local nonprofit human service programs. The ideal volunteer is committed to United Way’s mission to improve lives, has an interest in community needs and human services, and is able to work closely with team members to make objective decisions about program funding.


Broad and diverse volunteer participation from the communities we serve is key to our investment process.
