Coach,

Here is a chance for you to certify in several sports in a very short time. Special Olympics Oklahoma will offer a 2-day coaches camp at Oklahoma State University and facilities throughout the City of Stillwater. Coaches may attend only one session or all sessions. Housing will not be provided this year and meals will not be provided with the exception of the Coaches Picnic the evening of May 28th. There is no charge for this training session.

If you are interested in attending, please check the sessions you wish to attend and return no later than May 21, 2024. This year we are combining some sports into 1 session to allow you to certify in even more sports.

    Please bring a lawn chair. All food and soft drinks will be provided, feel free to bring a beverage of your choice.

Coaches this is your time to relax. We will have Hamburgers and all the fixin’s. Bring a lawn chair and a beverage of your choice. Bottled water and Sodas will be provided. We will hold a Coaches Cornhole tournament during the picnic with a fabulous grand prize. Be sure and sign up for the tournament at the picnic when you arrive. We will also have door prizes throughout the evening.

Unified Champion Schools – Stillwater Community Center ,315 W. 8th, Stillwater

The Unified Champion School session is for teachers and/or coaches who want to learn about what is the Unified Champion School program. This session targets new and first-year advisors. The session will do a deep-dive into the three components of UCS, what is required of the teacher/coach throughout the year, give examples of how to implement Special Olympics inclusion throughout the school, explain the benefits of UCS & the financial support of officially being a program, and give the teacher/coach resources to be successful.
