The Knowledge Café is a year-long professional learning series dedicated to fostering a collaborative community of practice around supporting multilingual learners. It engages pre-service teacher candidates, educators, faculty, and other key education stakeholders. Each year, we select a theme based on community feedback, and this year’s focus is on supporting multilingual learners, many of whom are newcomers to Illinois classrooms. Our goal is to equip educators with the skills to effectively support these students and their families.
