Eligibility to apply for the Cottrell Scholar Award is limited to faculty members who started their first tenure-track appointment three years prior to the year of application. Accommodations are made for faculty who have taken maternity or paternity leave, or who have experienced medical or other conditions that prompted a tenure clock extension. Please use this form to request an extension to your eligibility to apply for a Cottrell Scholar Award.
