PitchPower Visit Request Form
Programme Process: - Derbyshire we are offering Support Pitch Advisors to carry out PitchPower assessments for £100 to help us achieve our ambition to transform grass pitches right across Derbyshire.
1. Clubs complete and submit an Expression of Interest Form if they wish to join and commit to the Derbyshire County FA Grass Pitch programme.
2. Set up your own PitchPower account - Complete from the comfort of your own home
- Using your mobile, sign up here
- Find your organisation from the dropdown list
- Locate the ground(s) you maintain
- Add all the pitches you maintain at the ground(s)
3. To get ahead, have the following to hand: -
- Details of the maintenance equipment you currently use
- Your annual budget for maintenance/renovation
- List of standard maintenance activities you carry out
- Info on training courses you've completed
- Pitch cancellations/usage info
Once you've signed up, you can add the shortcut to your mobile phone home screen from the 'settings' section. This will give you access to your PitchPower account at the touch of a button.
4. Derbyshire FA will coordinate the time and date of the PitchPower assessment in conjunction with the selected club.
5. Derbyshire FA will notify the Pitch Advisor of visits and all relevant details.
6. PitchPower Inspection – Carried out by the Support Pitch Advisor.
7. Submit your completed PitchPower assessment: -
- Submit your completed inspection before the window deadline
- The Grounds Management Association (GMA) will review the information and assess the quality of your pitches
- You will receive an assessment report within 21 days
- This will provide practical recommendations for how you can improve the quality of your grass pitches. For example, applying for funding or taking a training course.
8. Feedback sought from club following agreed milestones and timescales, based on the recommendations provided by the Pitch Advisor.
9. Should the maintenance recommendations not result in an improved pitch or surface, there may be some further improvement work required on the site and the club can discuss funding options with the Derbyshire FA Football Development Manager.
