How It Works

The Host Agency will provide a safe and healthful training site for each participant, to provide adequate training necessary to perform assigned duties, encourage employment searches, take part in progress evaluations of the participant, and to provide additional training as opportunities occur.

The SCSEP Participant is paid with SCSEP funds to acquire new skills, and/or update existing skills, gain greater self-confidence, learn new workplace systems and procedures, while providing valuable community service and the extra help the host agency needs to operate.
