NAFSA 2024 Sustainability Service Project
Offsite. Join NAFSA’s Sustainability SIG at NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference and Expo for a service project promoting sustainability with ArcGNO, a local NOLA nonprofit organization serving people with intellectual disabilities and delays by offering a number of programs and services, from birth through adulthood.
On Tuesday, May 28 at 12:00 pm, a group of NAFSA volunteers will travel to ArcGNO’s Mardi Gras Bead Recycling Center to sort and package discarded Mardi Gras beads. Each year, ArcGNO collects more than 100 tons of Mardi Gras throws, saving them from drains and landfills around New Orleans. Please register below to join a team of NAFSAns to promote this incredible initiative while giving back to our conference's host city!
