AAP Prescribing Opioids in Outpatient Settings ECHO Registration Survey
Thank you for your interest in the American Academy of Pediatrics Prescribing Opioids in Outpatient Settings ECHO!
This ECHO aims to enhance clinicians' understanding of when opioids may be appropriate for treating acute pain in children and adolescents, while also focusing on minimizing risks.
Project ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is an innovative telementoring program, designed to create knowledge networks by connecting learners with an expert team through using brief lectures and case‐based presentations. A one-hour ECHO session consists of a short lecture (approx. 20 minutes) followed by a case presentation (5 minutes) and discussion.
This ECHO will run from November 2024 to February 2025 on Thursday's from 1:00 - 2:00 pm CT/ 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET /11:00 am - 12:00 pm PT. The ECHO sessions will be held on the following dates:
- November 14, 2024
- December 12, 2024
- January 9, 2025
- February 6, 2025
All ECHO sessions occur virtually using Zoom video conference technology. Participants are expected to join using video as this makes for a more interactive and impactful session. Only the lecture presentations are recorded for both synchronous and asynchronous observations.
Registration will be accepted on a rolling basis with first come, first served.
While this survey confidential, it does contain optional questions about demographic and geographical information. We ask these questions as part of our commitment to culturally responsive and equity-driven evaluation practices that enable us to bring visibility to needs and strengths of people who continue to be marginalized and underrepresented.
