Supplemental SRF Funding Meeting for Helene-Affected Communities
You are invited to attend one of four workshops in your area to get all the facts and get help preparing and submitting your proposed application!
DWI and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be visiting western North Carolina in meetings hosted by the regional Councils of Governments to provide individualized application support to local governments and other eligible applicants regarding SRF Helene Supplemental funding. Any local government unit, non-profit water/wastewater corporation or investor-owned drinking water corporation affected by Hurricane Helene may apply for this funding.
Please indicate the workshop of your choice below. The sessions are identical- there is no need to attend more than one session.
Each workshop session is conducted from 10 am – 4 pm. The information portion of the workshop will provide program details and will include a presentation by DWI and EPA, along with time for questions, between 10 – 11:30 am. During the workshop portion from 1 – 4 pm, you can work together with your consultants and/or DWI and EPA staff to prepare and submit your proposed application. DWI and EPA staff will be on hand to help you as you prepare and submit your proposed application. Please feel free to invite your consultants to these meetings.
If you have any questions, please contact one of the DWI project managers listed below.
