Collaborative Screening training provides skill-building for staff who engage patients in conversations about health-related social needs (food insecurity, housing instability) and other sensitive demographic data collection. This is an approach for building relationships with patients that respects their boundaries and begins to create more inclusive patient-centered care.
You are invited to sign up for virtual Collaborative Screening training which will take place August 2nd and 3rd.
Space is limited!
- Five hours of training will take place on day one (Aug 2nd 9am-12pm, 1-3pm), and 3 hours on day two (Aug 3rd 9am-12pm), for a total of 8 hours.
- Training is highly interactive and oriented towards skill development and actionable recommendations for individuals and systems.
- The training includes instruction and practice of person-centered screening and referral conversations, as well as review of organizational systems design and implementation planning for developing more person-centered systems.
- Each participant will receive a PDF copy of the training manual with a robust set of implementation tools.
- Space is limited and will be capped at 40 participants.
