Teaching Bridge Application

Teaching Bridge provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate students interested in careers in education to learn and earn during their first two years at WSU Tri-Cities. As part of a cohort, students attend classes full-time at WSU Tri-Cities while participating in a paid cooperative internship. Students will typically work 10-18 hours a week as substitute para-educators in partner school districts. As part of Teaching Bridge, students will also have unique support classes and opportunities for mentorship.

This experience provides students with career-connected learning during their first two years at WSU Tri-Cities and a pathway prior to their third year to full-time employment in partner school districts and apply to the Alternative Route Teacher Preparation Program at WSU Tri-Cities.
