Shared Services Report Collection

Background


Texas Administrative Code Title 19, Part 1, Chapter 13, Subchapter S, Rule Section 13.563 requires public junior colleges with fewer than 5,000 full-time equivalent students which receives a scale adjustment under Section 13.554(b)(1)(C) to submit a report on their participation in shared services to the Coordinating Board by November 1, of each even numbered year in which the college received a scale adjustment.


Institutions that are required to submit the report must include information on their:


  • participation in institutional partnerships;
  • shared services to support efficient and effective institutional operations; and
  • other partnerships to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.


Examples include participating in course sharing initiatives, or agreements to share staff or faculty resources; cooperative purchasing to reduce procurement costs and reduce redundancies; and consortiums for grant programs, purchasing, administrative or other operations.


This report covers the 2024 fiscal year September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024, and is due to the Coordinating Board no later than November 1, 2024.
