Publication Process Request

This form will submit a request to begin the process of formally developing your publication by the CFRI P2P Editing and Layout Team.

Guidelines for writing team, development of paper and layout requirements are include in the CFRI Publication Handbook.

STEP ONE

Have your document reviewed by the Copy Edit Team - you can choose three levels of edits:

1) Light Edit - Grammar Only

2) Medium Edit - includes setting tone for audience

3) Full Edit - red pen, with assistance from lead editor to finish development of paper

Please allow at least 14 working days for a full edit review.

If you need this to be expedited please reach out directly to the lead editor prior to or after submitting this form.

STEP TWO

Once edits are finalized and paper is as close to 99% complete as possible, this will move along to the Layout Designer. Please check the CFRI Publication Handbook or the Product Development Flowchart for the necessary items to have ready in your publication folder (ie images, logos)

NOTE: Each stage of publication development

(1) copy/edit review by lead editor,

(2) submission for design layout by layout designer,

(3) proofing by authors/partners,

(4) approval and posting

can take at least 21 working days before a final product will be ready - please consider this when entering the Date Needed By.
