Join Forces with Manufacturing Skills Australia (NSW ITAB) to Strengthen the Future of Our Industry
As a vital partner to the NSW Department of Education, Training Services NSW, Manufacturing Skills Australia (NSW Industry Training Advisory Body, ITAB) plays a critical role in shaping the training landscape for manufacturing vocations across New South Wales.
Our mission is to ensure that the training and education provided meet the current and future demands of the manufacturing sector. This includes a wide range of industries such as metals and engineering, aerospace manufacturing and servicing, plastics and hydrocarbons, textiles, clothing and footwear, laboratory operations, process manufacturing, and sustainability.
The Challenge We Face:
Recent reports from our industry partners indicate significant shortages in skilled labor and access to relevant training. To address these challenges effectively, we need your help in identifying where the gaps are most critical.
How You Can Make a Difference:
We are expanding our network of stakeholders who can provide essential insights into these shortages. By referring companies within your industry or sector, you will enable the NSW ITAB to gather the evidence needed to influence policies and secure the support necessary to address these shortages.
Why Your Input Matters:
Your referrals will directly contribute to a stronger, more responsive training and education system that meets the real needs of our industry. Together, we can ensure that the manufacturing sector in NSW remains competitive and well-equipped for the future.
