FTC Dean's List Interviewer

Please indicate what dates you are available to serve as a Interviewer. This is a FULLY REMOTE role.


You MUST be at least 21 years old to fill this role.

You are welcome to sign up for as many panels as you wish, but only apply if you are available for the entire time slot.


For instance, if you want to interview on Monday the 9th, you have to be available from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Not a portion of that time.


If you are not available for a whole shift, please do not apply for the shift! It is difficult for us to manage judges when they can't attend the entire shift.


Finally, submitting this survey is not confirmation of your volunteer assignment. We will make assignments based on availability, and send the assignments out by December 20th.

To check if your YPP is up to date, follow the steps below.

This is REQUIRED to fill this role. If it is not up to date by January 1, we cannot have you fill this role.


  1. Login to your FIRST account.
  2. Select the dropdown titled "Hello, NAME!"
  3. From the dropdown menu, select "Acknowledgement forms." Here you'll be able to see if your YPP is up to date. If you have served as a volunteer in the last year, you'll likely just have to agree to the policy, not resubmit a new background check.

To volunteer you'll have to create a volunteer account.


How to Register as a Volunteer:

  1. Visit https://www.firstinspires.org/ and select REGISTER in the right-hand corner.
  2. After you've made your account, login and select Volunteer Registration on your Dashboard.
  3. Then select Event Volunteering.
  4. On Event Filters, pick the program you wish to volunteer with (FTC). Or clear all filters to see all events.
  5. Select the event titled WA Washington Dean's List Interviews.
  6. Select All Dates for availability (this date is irrelevant, we'll schedule you based on your survey submission). Select the role of Interviewer.
  7. Follow the prompts through to the screen titled Application Received.
  8. Select the Begin Youth Protection Screening button and follow the prompts through to the end to submit your YPP (a free-of-charge background check).
