Sing, perform, develop great vocal technique and musicianship – and experience the joys of choral artistry and exceptional collaborations!

Young singers in the TYO Tasmanian Chorales have the opportunity to rehearse weekly with exceptional conductors and accompanists, as well as performing in at least three TYO concerts each year. Unlike the instrumental ensembles, the chorales are not auditioned: all levels of experience are welcomed. If you love to sing, join us!

Please note that all TYO ensembles have fees but these should never be a barrier to participating: TYO has fees assistance options available for eligible applicants, as well as flexible payment options. 2023 fees for TYO Chorales are $745 for Youth Chorale and $730 for Junior Chorale. Billed in your choice of upfront payment, four instalments or seven instalments.

4.00pm - 5.30pm 

TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale

4.30pm - 6.15pm

Both chorales rehearse on Tuesday afternoons during school terms only at Hobart North Uniting Church, 2 Swan Street, North Hobart
