Please use the following naming format when saving the file:

e.g. Letter of Recommendation - Student Last Name, Recommender Last Name

In your letter please reference the following information:

• Your relationship to the candidate
• Length of time you have known the candidate
• The type of research in which the candidate was engaged
• Your assessment of the candidate's academic and technical capabilities
• Your assessment of the candidate's motivation to do research and whether his/her interest and ability will lead to a career as a veterinarian scientist

**The application deadline for the VMD/PhD Program is November 1.**
