The BEE Award recognizes non-nurse care team members for their “extraordinary, compassionate and skillful care to help make a difference in the lives of our patients” and is based on nominations from patients, families and colleagues. The award complements the DAISY Award for nurses.

Just as the daisy cannot survive without the bee, nurses cannot survive without the outstanding teamwork provided by other colleagues.
