Group Type: Group will be used by?*

Choose : app: If for a particular application for any organization. For example this is needed to authorized access to application xyz for a new ad-hoc group that will be created by an admin. Or needed to authorized access to application xyz based on a complex logic beyond available data. org: If for only for your organization , for any applications . For example this needed for authorizing OIT department members regardless of applications. ref: Not specific to any applications or any organizations, rather by any affiliations such as faculty/staff/students/guest (ref). For example , need to authorize all factly/staff members regardless of applications and/or departments. unkown: If you are not sure select this option

Application Logic

If you choose "app" as a Group Type , please provide a description for the logic used by your application. This logic can be used to automatically retrieve members from the source system based on a specific criteria. For example "My application will need to authorize Staff who has a specific job code or title" or "My application XYZ will authorize school of pharmacy students who completed their 4th year". if no logic is provided, the assumption this will be ad-hoc group.

How to access the Group?:*

Choose: LDAP: If you would like to access the group via the IdM LDAP. https://eas.rutgers.edu/?ht_kb=what-is-ldap RAD: If you would like to access the group via the Rutgers Enterprise Active Directory (RAD) https://ei.rutgers.edu/index.php/rutgers-active-directory-rad/. Grouper: If you would like to directly access group via Grouper. This is mainly done via API . Other: If you are not sure.
