A few things that we commonly get asked for but are not
qualified additional costs:
Car payments/ Car insurance, Credit card payments, Student
Loan payments from prior educational borrowing, Pet care expenses
To adjust the elements of your Cost of Attendance, PCOM needs supporting documentation for your request. We cannot make an adjustment without proof that your expenses are larger than your current cost of attendance.
Items we may ask for before you begin
1) PDFs of Receipts/Bills/Lease/Approval Letters/Confirmations/etc. Anything that you are being reimbursed for will have to have corresponding independent validation.
2) Dates and Locations. Have ready the exact dates and addresses of what you are requesting.
3) Screenshots. When PDFs are not an option, the Snipping Tool and screenshots are acceptable.
4) Google Maps. When considering travel, we ask that you provide your Google Maps to show how many miles you would travel.
One page document per interview that has screenshots of all of the expenses for that interview
5) Budget Worksheet. We may ask that you complete a budgeting worksheet as part of your debt management.
6) Multiple Requests. If you have more than one adjustment being considered, be sure that you have all of the above items for each instance.
