APPLICATION FOR 2024 SHOTGUN SEASON HUNTING PERMIT AT QUABBIN RESERVOIR

Online Application Instructions:

You are applying for the Shotgun Season Hunting Permit in the HARDWICK, PELHAM and NEW SALEM Hunt Zones. Designated water supply lands of the Department of Conservation and Recreation in the these Hunt Zone are open for public hunting during the 2024 shotgun season (Dec 2nd - Dec. 14th) on a permit-only basis.

This permit is valid for all three (3) zones.

There is no cap to the number of hunters that can receive a permit for these zones. Access to this property is walk-in only.

Permits are in addition to a valid Massachusetts Hunting License and a Hunter Safety Certificate, if required by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.

THERE IS NO FEE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PERMIT

1. Fill out all the required information. If you do not include all the information DCR needs, you may be disqualified. Include Area Code with phone number.

2. You must possess a valid 2024 Massachusetts Hunting or Sporting License BEFORE you apply. Use your MassFishHunt Customer ID Number on the application.

3. Successful hunters must SELF-REPORT harvest information using an online form on the Quabbin Deer hunt page.

NOTE: This permit will not authorize hunting in any Hunt Zones other than Hardwick, Pelham and/or New Salem. Fields marked with an * are required.

2024 Quabbin Hunt Zones

Please check all the Quabbin Hunt Zones below you intend to hunt during the 2024 hunting season. Please only check the box if you intend to hunt a zone at least once. These zones will be open for the entire 2-week shotgun season and access is on-foot from the DCR gates or other designated access points.
