NAFSA International Group Membership Application

NAFSA is pleased to offer International Members special savings on NAFSA Membership through our new International Group Membership. If your institution or organization has two or more renewing/rejoining NAFSA members, you are invited to take advantage of International Group Membership annual dues rate of $329 USD per person! See details and application below.


MEMBERSHIP DUES

International Group Membership Dues are $329 USD per member. Membership dues are for a full twelve-month period.


GROUP MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

A minimum of 2 members must meet the following criteria:

  • have an address located outside of the United States
  • be employed by an organization located outside of the United States.
  • be renewing or rejoining NAFSA Members*
  • be located at the same institution and campus.

* individuals who are eligible for New, LDC, Student or Retired Professional Membership may be attached to the group for billing purposes, but do not count towards the two-person minimum.


GROUP MANAGER ASSIGNMENT

Each group must assign one person as a Group Manager. The group manager may manage the group without being a NAFSA Member. Responsibilities include:

  • Forming the initial group
  • Adding and removing group members
  • Purchasing new memberships and renewing existing memberships
  • Requesting membership transfers
  • Finding a new group manager as necessary and notifying NAFSA Membership staff of the new contact information

The group manager is the primary contact who manages the group roster, member status, and coordinates payment. The group manager need not be a member, but MUST have a NAFSA ID.

SECTION 1 - To modify your existing group.

•   Log in to https://account.nafsa.org/mynafsa.

•   In the membership detail section, you will see a hyperlink to https://account.nafsa.org/NAFSA/Home/Membership/Group-Membership/Group-Management.aspx


List each person's full name & NAFSA ID (I.e., Joe Smith 12345; Betsy Ross 67890). If you do not have access to the NAFSA ID, please list the group member name only. We may contact you for verification.

For example, left the institution, moved to another department, retired.

Note: Only renewing or rejoining members are used to calculate the group pricing tier. New, Student, Retired Professional, International and complimentary memberships are not eligible in calculation of the pricing tier. New, Student, Retired Professional, International and complimentary memberships already have reduced pricing and therefore do not count toward calculation of a pricing tier. They can, however, be included in the group invoice.
