About the Position

This role involves managing daily operations, overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing for emergencies, all of which require advanced technical and leadership abilities.

The Operations Manager will analyze budgets and reports while ensuring regulatory compliance. Identify capital projects that enhance efficiency, save costs, and benefit customers. Oversee water treatment, distribution, and maintenance operations, leading and assessing the water systems team for optimal performance. Supervise, train, and support staff in procedures, standards, and safety. Assist the General Manager in strategic planning and system improvements, and develop and manage maintenance and regulatory programs, such as water quality. Coordinate with agencies and the public to resolve issues and maintain operations, while monitoring workflow and compliance with all regulations, including report submissions.
