Application for Graduate Student Leave

WSU graduate students must enroll each semester (excluding summer) in their graduate program unless they are granted an official leave of absence.

This Application for Graduate Student Leave form must be signed and submitted to the Graduate School by the 30th day of class during the semester you begin leave.

Fill this form out completely and accurately. Submit the completed form to your academic coordinator for program review and subsequent forwarding to the Graduate School within myWSU.

Please contact the Graduate School if you have any questions by calling us at (509) 335-1446 or sending an email to gradschool@wsu.edu.

Students who do not enroll and are not on official graduate leave must complete a Request for Re-enrollment and pay a re-enrollment fee to resume their studies at WSU. Missing three consecutive required semesters will result in discontinuation from the graduate program.
