The IEEE TEC is looking for volunteers to join our collaborative technical initiatives involving TEC Standards and Technology Roadmap Development. The TEC has started or continues to collaborate across the following IEEE Societies and Standards Committees: Reliability Society (RS), Computer Society (CS) Systems and Software Engineering Standards Committee (S2ESC), and Power and Energy Society (PES).

The development of IEEE TEC standards and technology roadmaps across multiple IEEE Technology Activities are fostered by the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA) and the IEEE Roadmap Users Group (IRUG). The TEC plans to integrate Reliability Engineering capabilities from the IEEE Reliability Society, system and software engineering process standards from the CS S2ESC, and power and energy standards from PES and the Standards Committee 21 (SC21) to develop standard practices for the TEC. These standards could ultimately be brought into the TEC Technology Roadmaps for other IEEE societies to contribute through the efforts of the IRUG.
