Committee Chairs of the IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board (HTB) are looking for passionate volunteers eager to contribute to the HTB mission and strategic areas of focus.

IEEE Humanitarian Technologies is a consortium of current and new programs and initiatives - supported by a global network of volunteers and technical professionals - working together to apply technology to solve the world's most pressing problems.

Mission of the IEEE HTB

To support impactful and ethically informed volunteer-led initiatives, programs and projects, and mutually beneficial partnerships, as well as to inform policy formulation that harness technology and innovation to address societal challenges (including disaster recovery) in a responsive, effective, and sustainable way.

Before applying, please take into consideration that committee members have one-year terms with reappointment permissible for up to three terms, and volunteers will likely be asked to commit at least 5 - 10 hours/month (depending on which committee they will work with) to attend meetings and complete assignments.
