Selecting the relevant options from the below list, will enable us to determine whether you are eligible for any Credit Transfer.


Please note:

If you select OPTION 4 you will be eligible for 2 CTs

If you select OPTION 5, you will be eligible for 1 CT

You may be eligible for Credit Transfer for the following units of competency, if you have previously achieved them as part of TAE40110/TAE40116 ore prior OR may be with another Training Package. Check your previous certificates and statement of attainment and cross check if you have done any of them. If yes select the right units.

Core Non Equivalent Unit Assessment Pathway*

The below RPL Checklist is to check whether you are eligible to undertake RPL for the units that are non Equivalent and Newly added under Core Units of Competency. Even though the qualification TAE40110 is equivalent but the core units and some electives are not equivalent. Hence we could RPL the gap for the Units that are not equivalent.

Below are the list of the units that are not equivalent which is compulsory for you to undertake as part of Core Units of Competency:

  1. TAEASS412 Assess competence
  2. TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation
  3. TAEDEL411 Facilitate vocational training
  4. TAEDES411 Use nationally recognised training products to meet vocational training needs
  5. TAEDES412 Design and develop plans for vocational training
  6. TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector (New unit)

From the TAE40116, following units would be under Elective which was previously Core units and are not equivalent:

  1. TAEASS512 Design and develop assessment tools
  2. TAEDEL412 Facilitate workplace-based learning
  3. TAELLN421 Integrate core skills support into training and assessment

All the above units would be undertaken either through RPL or Competency based Pathway.

The Credit Transfers are free of Cost. In scenario where , all units are CT then $250 would be charged as administration cost.
