Skill Requirements Amoxie Consultants must have well developed, general office skills, such as typing, filing, and the ability to operate office equipment such as computers, fax machines, and copiers. Consultant must be able to communicate (read, write, and speak) English proficiently in order to receive and provide related information in a timely manner. Mental Demands The Amoxie Consultant is required to maintain professional communication and ethical behavior at all times. Amoxie Group has adopted the Texas Educators’ Code of Ethics and Professional Standards and expects consultants to conduct themselves accordingly. Public relations and people skills are required. Amoxie Consultants may work with frequent interruptions and are required to maintain professional composure under stress. Physical Demands While performing duties with Amoxie Group, the consultant may be required to sit for prolonged and irregular hours; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear regularly. The consultant frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The Amoxie Consultant is occasionally required to stand and walk. The Amoxie Consultant may routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Work Environment Work Environments at Amoxie Group are usually moderate but can vary depending on the job assignment of the consultant. Travel is an integral part of each position with Amoxie Group and may require travel throughout the district, school, and/or community served by the consultant. Amoxie Group consultants are expected to be punctual and communicate with their Amoxie Recruiter in the event they are not available for pre-planned events. Telecommuting/remote work arrangements may be optional depending on the position, with the exception of campus-based consultants that require regular attendance and performing all duties as expected by the Amoxie Group partner.
