FACES OF SALT LAKE COUNTY

Recruitment is Closed for Faces of Salt Lake County!


This program offers the opportunity to learn about different cultures through interviewing refugees, immigrants, and non-immigrants.



  • Conduct interviews on 24 refugees / immigrants from different continents & 4 residents who not refugees/immigrants.


  • Write reports on what you learned and create a storybook.


  • Participation will also include Welcoming Week in September 2023.



Participants must be residents of Salt Lake County.


Youth recruitment is closed.


This program is open to youths Grade 7 - 12. However, there will be opportunity for adult volunteers to assist in the program in the future.


Please note, student participants are required to be part of Salt Lake County Youth Government or the 4-H Teen Council through USU.


Adult Participants: If you would like to be interviewed select "Adult" for the question "Are you participating as a student or as an adult?" and complete the form.
