Venue Rental Application

Thank you for your interest in hosting your event at the Arizona Exposition & State Fairgrounds!


Ask about our availability today. Keep in mind, we host the largest event in Arizona each year! Venue rentals are not available from September through early November due to the Arizona State Fair.


The Arizona Exposition and State Fair (AESF) assesses applications based on the following criteria:


  • Availability of requested dates (are your dates flexible?)
  • Event feasibility (budget, equipment or labor needs, estimated guest count, etc)
  • Applicant’s previous event experience and capabilities
  • Conflict with pre-existing events
  • Adherence to State Fire Marshal regulations


AESF does not have in-house sound, lights, riggers, stage hands, pipe and drape, linens, catering, internet, phone, fencing, or portable restrooms. Should you need equipment that AESF does not own, your Event Specialist can refer you to local vendors to assist.


Submission of an application does NOT constitute a contractual agreement between our organizations nor does it guarantee event dates. The Arizona Exposition & State Fair ("AESF") reserves the right to deny any Venue Rental Application if, in AESF's sole discretion, the proposed event is not in the best interests of the State of Arizona or is inconsistent with the policies, objectives, or image of AESF.

Food & Beverage - (Concessions)

Great food and beverages (including adult beverages) are often the hallmark of a great guest experience. Arizona Exposition and State Fair works with some of the best concessionaires in the business. While we do not allow events to directly arrange for or contract with concessionaires, nor do we allow your vendors to sell food or beverages, we have you covered. We will work with you to determine your needs and take care of the rest so you can check this off your long list of items for your event together.

AESF has a liquor license covering the Fairgrounds. Exhibitors and participants are prohibited from bringing outside alcohol onto the Fairgrounds. Any event with alcohol sales will require law enforcement to be present. Arizona Exposition & State Fair will arrange this. Alcohol sales at your event may require a secure fenced area that can be monitored.

References

Checking references helps us learn more about your Event, your guests and how other venues have serviced you in the past. AESF prefers new applicants to have hosted this event at least TWO times before relocating to the Fairgrounds.


We must be able to contact references that you list in order to process your rental application.
