PSAU Complaint Intake Form

If you wish to file a complaint directly with the Public Safety Accountability Unit (PSAU), please feel free to complete the below form.


You may also submit your complaint via email to psau@jh.edu. If you choose this method, please ensure to include the information from the form in your correspondence.

If you do not recall the exact date, please provide an approximate date range to assist the PSAU Investigator in identifying the event in question.

It is your right to submit your complaint anonymously. However, by providing contact information, you will ensure that you receive regular updates, including a final disposition, and that you can be an active participant in the process.

Please be sure to indicated your preferred method of being contacted.

Please provide information regarding the nature of the complaint in your own words.


Provide as much detail as possible and indicate if there is any evidence - e.g., video or photographs - that you may possess or believe may exist. Also, provide the name of any witnesses to the incident (and contact information if you know it) and any other JHPD officers who may have been on the scene of the interaction.


Finally, include any information that you believe may assist the investigation of your complaint.
